All tours and programs in Tusheti
Tusheti is not just a mountainous region in Georgia—it's an entirely different world, accessible only through one of the most epic roads on the planet. Here, defensive towers stand for centuries without a single nail, alpine meadows burst with rhododendrons, and the silence is so profound you can hear your own heartbeat. PVD Club organizes real expeditions there—not standard tours, but deep immersion: from the thrilling Abano Pass to the most remote villages.

All tours to Tusheti are collected on the main page of Tusheti tours by PVD Club — short jeep trips, week-long expeditions with hiking through the national park, and cultural dives. The season is short—just 3–4 months while the Abano Pass remains open—so spots fill up fast.
The most popular option is the full 7-day Tusheti expedition with stays in cozy guesthouses or camping. Prices start from $670 for camping and go up to $990 for comfortable guesthouses—all inclusive: 4x4 transfers, meals, guides, and accommodation. Detailed day-by-day breakdown, photos, and reviews are right there.
And if you're still on the fence, check out the page why you really need to visit Tusheti — it's honest and straightforward: pristine air, preserved ancient traditions, total digital detox without crowds, plus unique local cuisine and hospitality that warms the soul.

The Abano Pass road — already half the adventure
Picture this: an early start from Tbilisi, and in 5–7 hours you're at nearly 3000 meters. The full story of this legendary route is in the article journey along Georgia's most scenic (and thrilling) road to Tusheti . Serpentine turns, sheer drops, clouds right under the wheels—one of Europe's most beautiful and dangerous highways. PVD Club's experienced drivers know every curve, the best photo stops, and how to pass oncoming traffic safely.
Why Tusheti grabs you forever
The nature here remains untouched: alpine meadows, waterfalls, snow-capped peaks, crystal-clear air. The culture is alive—Tushetians preserve customs blending Orthodox faith with ancient pagan roots. Towers from the 13th–18th centuries, petroglyphs, legends of heroes—history is literally under your feet. And the food: guda cheese in sheepskin, khash, mutton khinkali, homemade wine, and herbal beer. Most importantly, the silence heals the soul.

Nikita Chesnokov2025-10-20Any trip with PVD was a true adventure to remember for me! I've had 4 of them already, including one 1-week hiking trip, and really looking forward for more in the future.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
Sergey F2025-10-14Great guys. I've been to a lot of places with them over the past two years: Juta, Lake Abudelauri, Lake Udziro, Tusheti, and ascents of Ortsveri and Kazbek.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
Alexey Azarov2025-09-16An excellent tour operator for various tours in Georgia and beyond. I've traveled with them several times to Gudauri, Bakhmaro, and Tusheti, and each time I got more than I expected. The organizers are friendly but not pushy, ready to help with any difficulties, offer advice, support, and join in on fun projects. They're also willing to accommodate any unusual requests, like renting equipment and leading a wave ski tour up that mountain. For me, these guys offer the best value for money, and I definitely plan to travel with them again.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
Kristina Kuzhal2025-09-15I went with the guys to Kazbek – this ascent will remain in my heart forever! Thanks to the guide, Gleb, you're incredible! Everything was clearly organized and coordinated. The atmosphere was friendly and fun, but at the same time, everything regarding safety and time limits was strictly adhered to. And the food! Mmmmm... the cocoa alone at 3653 meters was worth it! We were always well-fed, instructed, and the guide was always there to help and support us. This was my first trip where absolute confidence in the guide and team inspired me personally. It was interesting, exciting, and challenging in places, but absolutely comfortable, calm, safe, and fun. Thank you!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
Dmitry Drozd2025-09-06When's the next tour, guys? After a successful climb of Kazbek, I definitely need to do a few more! Our guide, Gleb, was very helpful in resolving any issues along the way, clearly defined the weather window for the climb, and our group was the first on the mountain. It's a small thing, but it's important! Anyway, see you there! I'm thrilled with the organization of the tour!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Hadori Trek
Tusheti Mountains Hike Program — Early departure from Tbilisi (around 6:00) → transfer to Pankisi → trek start at 9:30. We dive into one of Georgia's most atmospheric routes: a dense forest filled with the scent of moss, ferns, and damp earth, followed by open meadows offering breathtaking views of ridges and distant peaks.
Day 1: ~10 km, elevation gain ≈600 m, moderate difficulty (suitable for most people in good physical shape). Midday — a generous break: hot tea from a thermos, delicious sandwiches, homemade khachapuri, nuts, dried fruits, and chocolate. We catch our breath, soak in the silence, and take photos against the endless mountains.
By evening we reach the overnight spot:
- Option A – romance under the stars: tents pitched on a scenic meadow overlooking the gorge (all gear provided, including sleeping warm bags and mats).
- Option B — comfort: check-in to an authentic Kistin guesthouse (cozy rooms, hot shower, homemade food, local wine and chacha).
Evening by the campfire (or on the veranda): guides sharing stories, Kistin songs with guitar, and a starry sky so bright it feels like you could reach out and touch it.
Day 2 (if choosing the two-day version): sunrise among the mountains → breakfast → heading out onto alpine meadows covered in flowers, birch groves, rushing mountain rivers, and constant panoramas of the Greater Caucasus Range. Distance: 8–12 km, moderate ascent/descent. Along the way — stunning viewpoints, chances to spot wild horses and flocks of sheep, optional dip in an ice-cold mountain river, and a picnic lunch in nature. By 16:00–18:00 we return to the vehicles → transfer back to Tbilisi (arrival in the evening).

Conclusion: Why It's Worth Going to Tushetia with PVD Club
Traveling to Tushetia on your own is, of course, possible - but it's extremely challenging and risky. The Abano Pass demands a powerful 4×4 vehicle and serious driving nerves on mountain serpentines with sheer drops — a regular car simply won't make it, and beginners often get stuck or run into trouble due to sudden weather changes, rockfalls, or early snow. Without local knowledge, it's easy to miss the most beautiful hidden trails, lakes, and towers rarely visited by tourists. Mobile signal is almost nonexistent, help is far away, and finding accommodation and food in the mountains turns into a real lottery. With PVD Club, all these complications disappear: experienced drivers who know every meter of Abano and all the bypasses, reliable 4×4 vehicles — this already removes 90% of the stress. Small groups (usually 6–10 people) allow flexibility: you can linger at a stunning spot, adjust the route according to weather or group energy, add extra hikes, or simply sit longer by the hearth.
In the end, it's not just a tour — it's a complete reset: tastings of cheese straight from shepherds, evenings by the fire with real mountain stories, treks to Oreti with picnics under blooming rhododendrons, silence and views that change your perspective on life. You pay a fair price ($670–990 for a full week) and get maximum impressions without stress or hidden costs. Many people return exactly because of this - with the feeling that they truly lived there, not just “saw” it. And they immediately book the next trip, because with PVD Club, Tushetia becomes safe, delicious, soulful, and unforgettable.
