We invite you to one of our author's tours to Svaneti - Becho Valley. Trekking in Svaneti is always varied and sometimes difficult. We have prepared a program for a four-day hike in Svaneti (three of which are walking) with accommodation in a campsite or guest houses.
PROGRAM
The tour program in Svaneti begins with departure on Thursday early in the morning. Closer to 17 o'clock on the same day we will find ourselves at the base camp in the village of Mazeri. We will settle down in tents or a guest house (optional), have dinner and go to bed, since tomorrow we will be trekking to the Gul glacier.
On Friday we will start our tour of Svaneti with trekking to the Gul glacier. We will make the transfer as close as possible to the start, to an altitude of about 1900 m. During the day, along the way you will meet abandoned farms, the Gul Pass, a stormy mountain river and the incredibly beautiful Svan fields. The approach to the glacier is made through stone fields. We will visit 2 monuments to fallen climbers, look at the mighty glacier and return to our base camp in Mazeri.
Distance per day: about 13 km.
Elevation gain: 1000 m.
On the next, second walking day of our tour of Svaneti, we will go to the Ushba glacier. Having overcome the forest excursion part of the route, we will begin the ascent to the glacier, passing rocks and the river, we will approach the source of the Shtugra waterfall and look at this endless stream of water. We will continue our journey to the glacier, and at an altitude of 2800m, having enjoyed the view of the glacier, we will begin our descent back to the village of Mazeri, where a warm dinner will await us.
On the third walking day we will go to a mountain lake at an altitude of 2300 m, where we will see a high-mountain church, from here we will start along the ridge and, if the weather is good, we will continue to climb to 2800 m. Here we will find a panoramic view of the Svan ridge. Throughout the entire journey, the queen of Svaneti, Mount Ushba, will shine before us.

To register for a tour, a mandatory prepayment of 50% of the tour cost is required.
The prepayment is refunded if you cancel the tour at least 5 days in advance.
If you cancel the tour less than 5 days in advance, the prepayment will not be refunded.
