What do we offer in freeride tours?
Amazing routes in the most picturesque corners of the country await you. Gudauri, Svaneti and Goderdzi are three resorts where the best slopes for freeriding open up in their free time. Knowing these places is not just the ability to navigate on a map, it is an art mastered by experienced guides. They will take you through beautiful gorges and slopes, select routes depending on your level of training, so that each descent becomes a real discovery.
Gudauri - the pinnacle of freeriding
In Gudauri The famous slopes of Kudebi, Kobi and Sadzele await you, where you can experience true freedom in off-piste skiing. These freeride spots are suitable for those who want to conquer not only the classic slopes, but also test themselves in the most exotic conditions. Ski tours are also available in Gudauri - hiking routes on skis, where you can walk along snow fields and enjoy all the delights of mountain nature. Such skiing requires some training, so it is important to be confident on the slopes and have the necessary avalanche equipment: a beeper, a probe and a shovel.
Freeride Tours in Goderdzi
For those looking for untouched forests and fields, Goderdzi is the perfect place for freeriding. The program includes 3 days of active off-piste skiing, where each day will be full of exciting moments and new challenges.
On the first day, the freeride program participants will go skiing in the forests near the resort. We will discuss skiing techniques, get to know the participants, and conduct the first avalanche safety training. In the evening, we will discuss the basics of terrain reading and types of avalanches.
Day two. We head to the dense Goderdzi forest. Three descents through forests and fields are not only exciting, but also require the right approach to assessing avalanche safety. At the end of the day, we will restore our strength in the sauna and prepare for the next stage of the program.
The third day of the freeride program will start with a ride on a snowcat (optional), and then we will make several descents on wide fields. We will also consider options for a route that can be done on foot, to avoid the groomed tracks.
Ski tour in Svaneti
The tour program is designed for those who want not only to ride, but also to become part of the landscapes, explore the trails and enjoy the silence of the mountain peaks.
Our journey begins with an early departure from Tbilisi, and by 16:00 PM we will be in Mestia, the heart of Svaneti. This is a small mountain village surrounded by snowy peaks and ancient towers. Here we will have a briefing on the upcoming routes, discuss the conditions for overnight stays in the mountains and prepare equipment. In the evening we will have time to walk around Mestia, feel the atmosphere of this unique region and get ready for the upcoming days of adventure.
Day 2 – Ski Tour Begins. The morning will start with a hearty breakfast, and then we will set off on the route. On this day, we will ascend by cable car, which will take us to an altitude of 2000 meters. From this place, we will begin our first ski tour adventure. We will make 2-3 descents to get used to the terrain and assess the preparedness of the group.
The next day we get up early and have a quick breakfast - and we are on our way. We will take a transfer to the pass to begin the climb to 2400 meters. It will take about 4-5 hours, but every step will be rewarded with stunning views. Along the way, unforgettable landscapes will open up, and you will be able to truly feel like a part of nature.
The final climb and descents. This day will start with a climb to 3000 meters. Here we will choose several interesting descent lines to test ourselves and enjoy the mountain trails. Then we will pack our things in the hut and go down to the village of Mestia, where a transfer back to Tbilisi will be waiting for us. The ski tour program is over, but the impressions and memories will stay with you for a long time.
