Freeride and ski touring program Goderdzi
Freeride in GeorgiaGoderdzi Ski Resort. We invite you to immerse yourself in a world of snow-capped villages and endless fields with dense, fairytale-like forests. The Goderdzi freeride program offers 5 or 7 full days of off-piste skiing.
On the first day, participants will go skating in the forest near the resort, let's look at the skating technique, and get to know each other. Towards the evening we will organize avalanche safety training, in which we will find the victim and feel like a victim. Later that evening we will talk about the basics of terrain reading, types of avalanches and mountains in general.
Freeride tour to Goderdzi The program also includes ski touring activities. On the second or third day, we'll explore the resort on a ski tour. We'll walk along the resort; the approach to the ski tour start takes about 2-3 hours. The program includes about 4 days of ski touring, with a 1-day rest break. Goderdzi offers a variety of terrain for ski touring, including the most interesting spots inaccessible to regular riders. All this is included in the freeride and ski touring program in Goderdzi from PVD Club.
Requirements for participants:
Confident level of skiing on the slopes
We'll head into the deep Goderdzi forest, starting from the pass and descending through fields and forests to the resort from the other side. We're planning about three descents per day. At the end of the day, we'll finish skiing through the forest near the Goderdzi resort. In the evening, a sauna awaits us, where we'll recover from two days of freeriding in Goderdzi.

The third day of the freeride program in Goderdzi will begin with a snowcat ride to the pass (optional), from where we will make about 4 descents towards the village through the wide fields of the Goderdzi resort. It is also possible to walk from the resort and descend to the resort from the pass.
The following days of the program include ski touring excursions. The program will include four days of ski touring in the vicinity of the Goderdzi resort.
Snowcat riding is available on any day of the program. This program assumes we'll spend the entire day on the snowcat, making about five runs per day. Snowcat riding (Catski) is an additional cost in our Goderdzi freeride program.

Goderdzi Freeride Tour Program
Day 1
Departing from Tbilisi, the journey takes about four hours. Then we transfer to a snowcat and drive along the serpentine road for about an hour.
In the evening, we'll meet and dine. This is the start of our Goderdzi ski touring and Goderdzi freeride adventure.
Day 2
Breakfast and departure for the first route. The group gets used to the pace and gets acquainted with each other. The route for introductory ski touring in Goderdzi and freeriding in Goderdzi is simple. Snack and dinner with hot tea in the evening.
Day 3
Breakfast, a moderately difficult route, 2-3 descents per day. The approach to the route takes 2-3 hours. In the evening, a video screening and a lecture on avalanche safety. Dinner. The study and practice of ski touring in Goderdzi and freeriding in Goderdzi continues.
Day 4
The morning is dedicated to avalanche safety training, followed by an easy route in the afternoon. In the evening, a sauna and steam bath are available for post-active skiing recovery.
Day 5 rest
A day of relaxation with avalanche safety materials and ski touring tips
Day 6
Two options: an early start on a challenging route with a long approach and two freeride descents of above-average difficulty, or a ride on a snowcat in a group (separate fee).
Day 7
Departure day: transfer by snowcat and minivan to Kutaisi or Tbilisi.

To book a tour, a mandatory prepayment of 50% of the tour cost is required.
The prepayment is refunded if you cancel the tour at least 10 days before the start of the tour.
If you cancel the tour less than 10 days in advance, the prepayment is not refunded or transferred.
