Mount Laila in Georgia is suitable for climbing for those who want to start mountaineering. Laila is the peak of the Svan ridge, located parallel to the main Caucasus ridge. Mount Laila is the leading peak among the Svinsky ridge, and its height is 4008 m. It offers stunning views of the entire Caucasus.
The route to Laila is incredibly beautiful: the ascent to the pass passes through the Svan forest, and the base camp before the ascent will be in a clearing overlooking Ushba. If you have enough time, we suggest combining the climb to Laila with our week-long hike in Svaneti.
Climbing Laila in Svaneti program:
DAY 1
Option A
Transfer to Svaneti from Tbilisi/Kutaisi/Batumi, evening arrival in Svaneti and setting up camp at an altitude of 1800 meters
Option B
Overnight in a guesthouse and early departure for the route the next day.
DAY 2
Option A
Early start on the route, we leave the forest and set up camp on the plateau. The track is about 7 km with an ascent of 1200 m
Option B
Breakfast, acclimatization trip from the Koruldi lakes. Here we will walk along the Gul Pass at an altitude of 3300 meters and try our strength during the day, then we will spend the night at an altitude of 2500 meters.

Transfer from Mestia to Tskhumari. We collect our things, alpine equipment and move towards the Chizhdi pass, spending the night in a clearing in front of the pass at an altitude of 2800. Snow and ice training on the slopes of Laila, during which we learn to walk on crampons in ties and practice self-restraint with an ice ax.
DAY 4-5
Early rise from 2 am to 2500 am and assault on the top of Laila. After climbing the Laila peak, we descend to the base camp and rest, after resting on the same day we descend to the base camp at an altitude of XNUMXm
The assault on Laila can be either on the 4th or 5th day; depending on the weather, we allow 1 spare day.
DAY 5
Descent to the valley and to the village of Tskhumari, return to Mestia, festive dinner with kubdari.
DAY 6
Reserve day. Can be used to visit the Black Sea or Svaneti.

The remaining 50% is due at least 7 days before the start of the tour.
Refunds of prepayment/payment are made if you cancel the tour at least 15 days in advance.
If you cancel the tour less than 15 days in advance, the prepayment/payment is not refunded or transferred.
