We recommend checking out our detailed guide first: What to Bring for Mountain Climbing — so you’ll feel confident and won’t forget anything important.

Kazbek (5,054 m) – Your First Five-Thousander

Kazbek is a true classic of the Caucasus and the perfect starting point for anyone who wants to seriously test themselves at high altitude. Dramatic landscapes, real mountaineering experience, and breathtaking beauty await you. The program is designed for people with good physical fitness. We provide all the necessary equipment (including mountaineering boots, crampons, ice axe, harness, etc.). If you’re missing any personal gear or warm clothing — no problem: rent everything you need at our point in Tbilisi.

7-Day Kazbek Climbing Program:

  • Day 1 — Transfer from Tbilisi to Kazbegi (≈3 hours). We start from the world-famous Gergeti Trinity Church and hike to the Altihut shelter. First night at altitude — acclimatization has officially begun!
  • Day 2 — Trek to the moraine and crossing of the Gergeti Glacier (crampons used depending on conditions). Then a steady climb to the old Meteo Station. Overnight in a tent camp.
  • Day 3 — Acclimatization hike up to ≈4,200 m: we scout the summit route in daylight, assess the terrain, then return to base camp for rest and early bedtime.
  • Day 4 — The big summit day! We start in the dark (1–2 a.m.), enjoy hot tea and a quick breakfast — and go for it. Full round trip (ascent + descent) usually takes 12–15 hours of continuous effort.
  • Day 5 — Well-deserved descent into the valley. Evening arrival in Stepantsminda, celebration, and well-earned rest after the victory.
  • Days 6–7 — Weather reserve days. If everything goes smoothly — return transfer to Tbilisi or a bonus day exploring the stunning Sno or Truso valleys.

Difficulty: high. Good physical preparation and strong motivation required.

If you’re bored of predictable walks and want something that genuinely pushes your limits, this is the adventure for you. We’re talking real mountaineering-style ascents: scrambling up sharp rocky peaks and ridges, navigating boulder fields, steep scree slopes, and barely-visible paths that most hikers would never attempt.

This isn’t gentle hiking. It’s raw, physical, and exhilarating — the kind of experience that leaves you with tired muscles, a huge sense of accomplishment, and stories worth sharing.

Duration: Flexible tours from 1 to 3 days (ideal for a quick intense day or a full weekend escape). Who it’s for: People with solid physical fitness who enjoy pushing their boundaries and aren’t intimidated by exposure, uneven terrain, and a solid dose of adrenaline.

«Your 300 Meters» Challenge The ultimate endurance test in the mountains

Want to find out what you’re truly capable of? This full-day beast is built for exactly that.

We leave Tbilisi early and head straight to the Kazbegi region. The mission: climb up to 3,000 meters in one continuous push that takes about 13 hours round trip. Every tough section ends with the same inner mantra: «Just another 300 meters…»

The route throws everything at you: steep climbs, loose rocky trails, exposed sections, and long sustained ascents. Total distance ranges from 12 to 25 km, depending on the chosen variant and how much extra challenge you want.

During breaks you’ll get hot snacks and drinks (nothing beats a cup of tea on a windy ridge), and our guides provide any necessary mountaineering gear. They closely monitor everyone’s pace, energy, and safety — so you can focus purely on moving forward.

It’s tough. It’s honest. And standing at 3,000 meters after such a climb feels absolutely incredible.

Chaukhi Pass Trek: 3,300 Meters of Pure Caucasus Magic For altitude lovers and those who crave epic mountain views

If you’re drawn to high places and want to experience the wild heart of the Caucasus without full-on technical mountaineering, the trek to Chaukhi Pass (3,300 m) in the remote region of Khevsureti is perfect for you.

This stunning high pass offers jaw-dropping panoramas of jagged rocky peaks, the dramatic Chaukhi massif (often called the «Georgian Dolomites»), turquoise high-alpine lakes, and endless ridges stretching into the distance. It’s raw, beautiful, and unforgettable.

We set up our base camp at around 2,600 meters — a perfect spot to spend the night under a blanket of stars. The 3-day program is designed for maximum enjoyment with light packs on most days:

  1. Easy side trips to three incredible mountain lakes (including the famous colorful Abudelauri lakes with their different shades of turquoise, emerald, and white).
  2. Summit scrambles and short ascents without heavy backpacks — pure freedom of movement.
  3. Non-stop breathtaking views of the Chaukhi hills, sharp pinnacles, and the surrounding alpine landscape.
  4. Crystal-clear mountain water straight from the source and hot, hearty meals to keep you fueled and happy.
