Mont Blanc Trek 2026: Simple and Clear Guide
The Mont Blanc trek (also called trek around Mont Blanc) is one of the most beautiful and varied hikes in the Alps — and probably in all of Europe. In 10 days, you’ll walk through France, Italy, and Switzerland, seeing Europe’s highest peaks, stunning passes, green alpine meadows, glaciers, and cozy villages. It’s not just walking — it’s a real adventure with changing cultures: French food vibes, perfect Swiss cow farms, and Italian espresso moments. Many call this the best multi-day trek in the Alps.

What’s the format of the trek?
This is a true independent adventure with tents. No huts every night — we go self-supported. About 5 nights in equipped campgrounds (with showers, toilets, and kitchens), and 3 nights wild camping by rivers or in valleys — just mountains, stars, and quiet all around. Total freedom, no crowds, no fixed schedule.

When is the best time to go in 2026?
The most comfortable and scenic window is mid-July to the end of September. Snow on the passes has melted, trails are dry, meadows are bright green or golden in autumn, and the weather is usually kind. That’s when most people complete the route happily and get the best experience.
We meet in Geneva (Switzerland) at the bus station, then take a group transfer straight to Chamonix (France) — easy and stress-free.

What about food on the trek?
We cook as a group. Hearty breakfast before the day starts, trail snacks with tea or coffee during the day, and a solid dinner in the evening. We prepare everything ourselves, take vegetarians into account, but focus on meat, high-energy snacks, and dried fruits. Good, healthy food to keep everyone strong and energized for the whole trek!
